Villa Bianca in Sant Joan
This single storey villa for rent sits in Sant Joan de Labritja, in the north of Ibiza, seriously elegant in a way that recalls relaxed Californian architecture. The line between inside and outside blurs behind the tall panes of glass, and the flat green lawns that surround the house work as a permanent backdrop. The interiors, designed by the French owner, set beige concrete floors and ceilings against warm Scandinavian wood, charcoal black accents, natural linens, wicker and rattan. It is a house built for gathering your tribe, with low seating spread inside and out.
Cinema, gym and pool
The villa offers 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms: four rooms in the main house and one more in a separate guest house, a layout that works equally well for two families sharing or a group of friends. The large open plan living room shares its space with the kitchen and dining area, black columns giving an industrial edge that is softened by pale concrete and wood, a big reclaimed timber table and black wicker chairs under pendant lights. The kitchen is fully equipped and a private chef can be hired for the evening. Adults keep in shape in the fully equipped gym and the night ends with a film in the cinema room, while the large pool and its sun terrace hold the centre of the garden.
Lawns and open air living
Wide lawns unfold around the house, broken only by a splash in the pool or the cheer of a friendly match on the football pitch. The youngest guests have their own playhouse, and beside the pool a shaded area with low seating invites you to rest alone or with the group. The outdoor dining area, complete with its open air kitchen, is set for lunches that stretch into cocktail hour and beyond as the sky changes colour. The villa is offered as a holiday rental, holds a touristic rental licence, is in excellent condition and its energy certificate is in progress.
